The platform of the People’s Movement of Pakistan (PMP) further explains Dr. Tanveer Zamani’s Vision of Democratic Presidential governance in Pakistan.
Needless to mention, Dr. Zamani registered her first voice, officially raised at the National press club in Islamabad, on Nov 2, 2016, for the Presidential system in Pakistan, due to foreseen inevitable failure of the current parliamentary system. These recommendations (Watch video message), amid Governmental crises merit serious consideration. The message describes inevitable indications, and a feasible pathway of smoother transition to the Presidential System in Pakistan:
1)Implication of Article 190/or 245 by the SC-CJ
2)Time-out govt for 20 months to reset infrastructure.
3)Presidential system awareness campaign
5) Implementation of Presidential system
6) Presidential Elections
Rectification of a widely held false belief in Pakistan:
DO NOT MIX UP the two totally different form of governments. There is a difference between the the imposition of direct military control of civilian functions by a military dictated government; like in the past, by the regimes of Presidents Ayub-Yahya-Zia-Musharraf; AND the Presidential System which is an absolute rule of Democratic & Republican governance. Republican: Latin: res publica, meaning 'public matter', 'regarding public'. Democratic Greek: δημοκρατία dēmokratía, "rule by [the] people.
