JEDDAH — Ex- Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member Dr. Tanveer Zamani launched a new group namely Pakistan Peoples Youth Movement (PPYM) here recently.
Speaking at the introducing ceremony, she said the PPYM would welcome all non-corrupt people, unite all youth under the green flag of Pakistan, solve people’s problems, eliminate all prejudices and work for national security and prosperity of Pakistan.
Zamani, 53, who is originally from Hyderabad, India, is member of PPP since 1986. She studied in Khatoon-e-Pakistan College Karachi and passed MBBS from Sind Medical College (SMC) Karachi in 1998.
Zamani is a torchbearer of the Bhuttoism ideology and legacy of ex-prime minister late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. She believes that every individual who supports the ideology of late Bhutto is a Bhutto himself.
She said: “Now I have started my best journey of life. I broke my silence on the basis of my three previous visits to Pakistan. I realized being a Pakistani to start my own party under one Green Flag.
She said: “I hope that national action plan and Zarb-e-Azb will take care of Pakistanis and as well as overseas Pakistanis. I am proud of COAS Gen. Raheel Sharif and I will lead the first pro-Zarb Azb public rally in Karachi. I will also lead a numbers of rallies in Liyari, Islamabad, Quetta, Azad Kashmir and Gilgat Baldistan for PPYM.”
She expressed her gratitude for Custodian of Two Holy Mosque King Salman and his government for the service of Islam and unity of Muslim Ummah. She also praised the services for Haj and Umrah pilgrims as well as the expansion work in Makkah and Madinah. She also praised the Saudi vision 2030.
Dr. Zamani, a practicing surgeon and who lives in Gramercy Park, Manhattan, New York, was here to perform Umrah. She said: “We are proud of the excellent relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and hope it will grow in future.”
